With over 20 different diving sites, you're sure to witness amazing marine life and simply drift away as you immerse yourself in this surreal water world.<br /><br />For a break from the soft white sand, consider Reid's Palace Hotel in Madeira. Reid's Palace Hotel has a rocky beach, with sharp, black rocks. While the rocks may be hard, the weather is generally soft and pleasant. If you don't enjoy the rocks, but enjoy the weather, the hotel offers a swimming pool. Simply hang out there and look at all the beautiful sites around you.<br /><br />Well-known and loved by celebrities, locals, and visitors alike, are the luxuries of Miami beach. Miami offers several restaurants, a string of different parties at local nightclubs, and plenty of sandy beaches. The Tides is a luxurious hotel with an amazing view, and is often stayed at, and recommended by, vacationers.<br /><br />Relax in Negril. Scuba dive in Austria. Party in Miami. There's a variety of swimwear to choose from, each accentuates and hides different areas. Some varieties include bikinis, tankinis, bandinis, camikini, maillots, and boy legs.<br /><br />Bikinis were a forbidden boom back in the day, and now they are universally sexy. Sexy side-tie, triangle-pieced bikinis tend to leave little to the imagination. But you can encourage the imagination by adding a few extra curves by going for a top with a built-in push-up bra, or an under wire. To take it down a notch, you can go for a bandini, which is, essentially a bikini with a bandeau top. A bandeau is a straight, strip-like piece of fabric.<br /><br />Are you a little uncomfortable with a bikini, but not wanting to go with a full one-piece suit? Go for the tankini. The top is longer and leaves only a small part, about 2-4 inches of your stomach exposed. Camikinis are the same as this, except the top looks like a camisole.<br /><br />If none of those options seem appealing, perhaps you want to leave more to the imagination, you may want to opt for a maillot, which is a basic one-piece suit. Some have come to refer to a cut-out style the &quot;monokini&quot;. <br /><br />To take leaving things to the imagination a step further, you can wear boy legs, which are a long leg resembling really short shorts. Be careful, though, sometimes boy legs make the leg look shorter.<br /><br />Beyond the basic design of the swim wear you need to choose, you should also consider the color and accessories. Some swimming suits have zippers, some have strings, some have metal hoops, some are blue, some are designed. Choose the design you prefer for you body and then consider color and design.<br /><br />There are other types of swimwear necessary for the water. Other than just basic body parts, you can also cover your head, ears, and eyes.<br /><br />Swim caps, placed over the head and ears and reduce water resistance when trying to swim. This is especially handy for competition. Goggles, placed over the eyes protect the delicate balance of the eye from chlorine and other chemicals in pool water, and salt and pollution in natural water, which helps swimmers to see well under the water.<br /><br />You should assess your body and body type, and your level of confidence in your body and choose your swimwear accordingly. You don't want to pick out a swimming suit that is considered cool because it's cool and end up feeling self-conscious every time you wear it. Why does this happen? The main reason is that the suit isn&rsquo;t practical for active use. When buying a swimsuit there are some important considerations to look at before buying, not the least of which is whether you are going to be active in it, like playing volleyball or just lying in the sun.<br /><br />Let&rsquo;s take a look at some of the things we want to consider.<br /><br />First off, you want to choose the right suit for your body type. For example, if you have wide hips or a little bit of a tummy you want to use blocks of color on one-piece suits constructed of darker fabric on the bottom and a lighter top half. You also want at least 15% spandex.<br /><br />If you aren&rsquo;t naturally or otherwise endowed in the top, choose a lightly padded halter or a bra style with an underwire. You can also divert attention away from a smaller bust by using suits with texture and small print designs. <br /><br />If you have the opposite problem or blessing, whichever way you want to look at it, you can minimize a larger chest by wearing a darker top with a higher neck. Make sure that the suit offers the support you need and choose a wider bottom to give you balance.<br /><br />For a small or petite frame, a one piece with thin vertical striping can help and you can make short legs look longer with a higher cut on the hip. If you have a boyish figure, you can give yourself the illusion of a smaller waistline with a tankini and if you have what you consider to be an overly round bottom you can wear a &ldquo;skort&rdquo;, the short and skirt combination to divert attention.<br /><br />If you are one of the lucky ones with nice toned legs and shoulders, show them off with a bikini or a more revealing one piece. <br /><br />These days, you can mix and match tops and bottoms when buying bikinis, so have fun with that. Just remember what you are going to use the suit for.
